This (old) animation was never made with such a big viewing angle in mind and I wasn't sure whether to upload it. You can see Mercy's hands and the balancing act of the male body in the image above.

If you're focused on the "action" you shouldn't notice it. From my tests, you need to turn your head to see the edges anyway.
