First of all, I'm very happy to say that the upcoming v0.1.12 build will be the final build of phase 1. While there's nothing magical about moving from one phase to another, it does mean a few important things:
- After the next build, most builds will focus on adding new interactions and game mechanics, instead of boring frameworks and systems.
- We're getting a little bit closer to public builds. I don't have an explicit ETA, but my plan is to start releasing public builds somewhere around the end of phase 2 / beginning of phase 3. Patrons will continue to receive updates before the general public.
The next build will focus mostly on fixing bugs, cleaning things up, and making sure that all of the basic systems are stable and good to continue. Many of you will be happy to know I've found and fixed the notorious memory leak from v0.1.11.
As far as content goes, the only new material in the next build will be an update to the cum system, since the system I was experimenting with in 0.1.11 isn't running fast enough. I've found a solution using GPU instancing and projector decals that looks promising, so that's what I'll be exploring.
