Status Update
The last week was ultra frustrating for me (which is why I wasn't active at all on Discord - sorry for that)
I thought I had fixed the crash problems of my new PC, but then it crashed again and this time while saving the Blender-file of my little animation-project. Result: The file is corrupted. And who hadn't installed their automatic backup software on the computer yet, since they had formatted it just a few days before...that's right, that sucker was me. 😖
Accordingly, my animation progress was lost, which of course frustrated me a lot, on top of that I continue to struggle with Blender's animation tools.
So that I once again have a sense of achievement and also you get something offered, I now try a smoother transition to Blender. I discovered that it is relatively easy to import SFM animations into Blender. The advantage would be of course that I can animate in SFM much faster (and currently also better) and at the same time in Blender then benefit e.g. from the better light, more animation details (pushing skin for example) or also from liquids (at which I would like to finally try myself). The disadvantage would be that I would have to use the graphically of course not so perfect SFM models in Blender.
But I think this could be a good compromise between learning and fast results.
I hope to be able to present such an attempt already this week or next week. I'm not around for a few days and also have to keep my fingers crossed, that the crash-issue is finally solved (resetted everything in BIOS, which makes my PC slower, but hopefully it doesn't crash anymore). If not, I might need to change hardware, which would of course take time too.
