Where do I even begin writing about the magnum opus of H Simulations?
I can rave and praise this masterpiece and still do it disservice.
Yes, SUMMER CSL is THAT phenomenal 🔥
A game that was released over 3 years ago and have been receiving small and major updates for another 1.5 years. But the BIGGEST "update" of them all was ITS OWN ANIME!!
Someone out there with deep pockets must've become so emotionally attached after filling up his 10th bucket, that he was willing to invest in an actual full-ass animation.
So what is it even about? and why is it so successful?
In SUMMER CSL you control a nameless MC that is asked (forced) by his aunt to look after her daughter Hazuki in their countryside house while the parents are off on a month trip to Ohio, or some other questionable place.
Years have passed since they've last met, and big surprise that the cousin you once knew now has a voluptuous figure oozing with sexuality. But even that won't begin to describe the nymphomaniac you're about to enter into your summer life.
Aside from a big delicious meal Hazuki cooks for you, your first day at the countryside is pretty uneventful. Any conversation attempt ends up with a few words and a cold stare. Surely not the way you were planning to burn out your next 30 days...
But alas, our chica can't keep her hands in one place, and you wake up to her moans from the other room. Choosing to give in to your lust, you barge in with a rocket in your hands and a dream. Hazuki is more than welcoming you to empty your reserves inside her.
Since you broke the distance so quickly, you now have a full month to slay Hazuki at literally every chance you get. This game wastes no time.
After the first H event, you'll be introduced with social and lust mechanics. These will determine Hazuki's willingness to play along with your ever increasing lustful desires.
🕹️ The gameplay is very simple, as it should be in Simulation games:
Control the MC with free movement to locate and interact with Hazuki in different rooms and locations.
Each "Talk" interaction will increase your social relationship, and each "Etch" (heart) interaction will increase your sexual relationship.
You can max out both by spamming conversations and any sexual interaction over and over. Kind pointless to be honest, as maxing out all bars takes around 10 minutes, unless you're the immersed type and in it for a slow and more natural build up.
Once you're done with the bit of grinding (🥁), it's time for the real summer sex life experience!
⭐ The true goal in SUMMER CSL is to basically "scavenge hunt" new H scenes to fill up the MASSIVE gallery for later studies.
Etch Hazuki in different rooms, including different poses in the same rooms for different scenes.
While she appears in most rooms as soon as you enter, some placements only happen during certain times of the day, so make sure to catch her on time to claim your reward.
Once you've covered all of the house locations, it's time to go outside and even further explore the various locations your cousin will let you do her in.
Some scenes require different outfits, or no clothes at all, which can be unlocked by interacting with scattered clothing around the house. (You can change by speaking to her)
Other scenes will trigger by spending money at the online shop with the allowance you get periodically.
As the days will pass, new events will appear. You don't have to complete them, but since your days spent in the game are finite, then you want to make the most out of them.
What may seem like a normal H interaction that you've already had, will turn out to be completely fresh whenever in context with a large event dialogue box.
I found myself eagerly expecting to see what new lecherous acts Hazuki will come up with next.
The mix between her nonchalant approach for sex to her lewd moans and cravings is an absolute turn-on. Truly the gift that doesn't stop giving.
A major DLC was released about 1.5 years after initial release called "Fun Outings", where three large areas were added with their own unique H scenes and stories.
They are paced out by either time schedule or saving up the allowance you get from your aunt every once in a while, so you can purchase traveling tickets at the local store.
And again, its all the small things that makes the whole experience feel complete.
Yes, you spend more of the day screwing that doing any other activity, but at the same time you're also immersed with a chill sex life story that is simply OOZING with quality!
💕 You've already seen the thumbnails: lets talk about these drop dead gorgeous pixel animations.
I mean... just LOOK at those full screen close-up POV animated CGs! Who even goes to those lengths???
We're past 3 years into SUMMER's release, and the only studio to have ever delivered such high res pixel art is the same one that has blessed us with this masterpiece - Dieselmine.
I would honestly be pleased with just the pixel works, but Disel went balls deep with super detailed and hot CGs that left no more room for doubt - SUMMER CSL is arguably the GOAT of simulation games, or at the very least at the top 3 of all time.
The gallery has over 10 pages (!!!!!) unique scenes in total.
That is A LOT of CGs and animations to enjoy! Which by FAR exceeds many H game galleries out there.

Overall, SUMMER CSL is a straightforward H game full of lust, but also full of soul.
The devs cared about what they made here, and it shows: from the ambiance and the beautiful artwork, to the high attention to detail of how a traditional Japanese home would look like in the countryside.
The small details in the background when exploring both indoor and outdoor, and of course the plethora of individual H scenes, meaning no recycling, but a complete new artwork in extremely high quality that isn't seen often in the H scene.
The cherry on top is the Anime project that is quite adapted to source material.
In a 16 and a half minute long episode you can probably accumulate past the intro just over one minute where the MC and Hazuki aren't banging - similar to the actual playthrough.
No matter if you're into Simulation or laid back H games or not, SUMMER is a must purchase! Just its STACKED high quality and juicy gallery alone offers more than multiple titles together.
If you didn't own it yet, then today better be the day.
Easily a 10/10 💯
